Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the InspireWorks Lab website and the services offered through it. By using the site, creating an account, booking, purchasing, or accepting these terms electronically, you agree to them. Under Ley N.º 8454 (Certificados, Firmas Digitales y Documentos Electrónicos, articles 3 and 4), your acceptance by electronic means is legally valid and has the same force as a document signed on paper.

2. Who we are and our services

InspireWorks Lab, based in Costa Rica, provides executive mentoring, corporate training, workshops, keynote speaking, events with ticketing, and a member community. Descriptions, availability and prices are shown on the site. Consistent with article 34 of Ley N.º 7472, prices displayed to consumers are the final price and are stated in Spanish where applicable; taxes are shown or included as required by law.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be of legal age (18, per Código Civil article 37) to purchase or hold an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential; activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Purchases, payment and refunds

Payments for services, event tickets and membership are processed through Wix's payment providers. For distance and online purchases, Costa Rican consumer law (Ley N.º 7472, article 40, extended to e-commerce by Chapter X of its Reglamento, Decreto N.º 40703-MEIC) grants you an eight-day right of withdrawal ("derecho de retracto") from the perfection of the contract, where the nature of the service permits, with refund by the same means of payment. Refund and cancellation details are set out in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

5. Intellectual property and your content

The site's content — text, images, graphics, videos, course and workshop materials — is protected by Costa Rica's Ley N.º 6683 (Derechos de Autor y Derechos Conexos) and belongs to InspireWorks Lab or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view and use it for its intended purpose; you may not reproduce, adapt, publicly communicate or distribute it without authorization (see our Intellectual Property Notice).

When you post content in the community or submit testimonials, you keep your rights in it and grant InspireWorks Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and use that content to operate and promote the community and our services. Because article 19 of Ley N.º 6683 treats each form of use as independent, this licence covers reproduction, public communication and display across our own channels for that purpose. Where our live sessions, workshops or events are recorded, we will tell you in advance and obtain your consent to use your name, image, voice or likeness in the recording.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site and community lawfully and respectfully: not to post unlawful, defamatory, harassing or infringing content; not to attempt to breach security, scrape or misuse the platform; not to resell tickets or content without authorization; and to follow our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend access that violates these terms.

7. Disclaimers — results and professional advice

Our mentoring, training and content are educational and developmental. We do not guarantee any specific result, outcome, income or professional advancement — results depend on many factors particular to you. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial or legal advice; for specific concerns, consult a licensed professional. Any testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise that you will obtain the same results.

8. Liability and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights that Costa Rican law grants you and that cannot be waived. Under article 32 of Ley N.º 7472 your consumer rights are fundamental and non-waivable, and under article 42 abusive clauses in adhesion contracts are absolutely null — including any clause that would exclude our liability for defective performance, bodily harm or delay, or that would let us modify the contract unilaterally without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without affecting those rights, our liability for other matters is limited to direct damages, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Every service carries the implied legal warranty of quality set out in article 43 of Ley N.º 7472.

9. Third-party links, changes and termination

The site may link to third-party sites we do not control and for which we are not responsible. We may update these terms as our services or the law change, and will post the updated version with its effective date; material changes take effect on notice or on your next use. You may stop using the services at any time; we may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, without affecting rights already accrued.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, and disputes are submitted to the competent Costa Rican courts — without prejudice to your non-waivable rights under Ley N.º 7472 and your right to file a complaint before the Comisión Nacional del Consumidor of the MEIC (articles 47 and 53). If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
